Um. For anyone else who's suddenly found themselves in a jungle with lots of dinosaurs, hi.

And also, I've been connecting to dinosaurs in my range, and they all know that we're bad things to eat. I've just been pressing general people images into their minds, and specifically the people I know who are here, so we should be okay at least around the treehouses. Outside my range, though, no guarantees. There are a couple that are my friends, though, so if you see any getting up close and personal with one of the treehouses, don't worry. They'll be mine.

Dani'd only just finished getting dressed after her shower when the pain and panic hit her. The animals were always there, a comforting presence in the back of her mind, and when they felt something this strongly, she knew. She felt it, too, and she resisted the urge to scream.

Shield, shield, shield, shield. They didn't need this, she didn't need to make them panic more with her pain, she'd been able to keep them from feeling her pain at Weapon X, she should be able to do this, but it was so, so much harder when it was their pain, their panic, when she was feeling it all and they were sending it to her and she couldn't just cut if off.

Focus. Focus, calm down, make them calm, tell them it was all going to be okay, even when it wasn't, it wasn't, because some of them were dead and others were in pain and they were in her head and there was nothing she could do to stop it. Oh, Ma'heo'o, make it stop, make them not be in pain any more, make them not be scared and panicked and running.

She was out of her room before she knew what she was doing. Out of her room and going outside, running for the forest, not thinking about anything but making it stop. If she was closer to them, out there with them, it would be easier to comfort them.
